Bonkie imagining his son growing up into becoming some sort of deviant was fun. The design of adult Junior was heavily based on another cartoon cat, Jack, from Oggy & the Cockroaches (a personal favorite of mine, the sound design alone is worth the price of admission). Had some fun sprinkling his desk with various comic books and old video game cartridges, while I don't exactly think of these stories being tied to a certain era, I feel like, smartphones withstanding, they could've taken place in the 90's when I was growing up.
