We're on the home stretch! I'm actually quite proud of the incoming climax of this story. There were a few set pieces I wanted to include going into this comic, and this was one of them (the desert soda machine was another, that was probably the first sequence written for it). I find the idea of meteors raining from the sky like ballistic missiles to be sufficiently epic (and in this case appropriate, giving the bad luck curse our heroes are under).
